FEATURED ARTIST FOR 2025
Meet our 2025 Artist: Paula Brinkman
Paula has created a minimalist interpretation of one of the doors of the Fairfield Hills duplexes for last year’s signature art for the 2025 Newtown Arts Festival. This design was available at The Festival in t-were black. The volunteer t-shirts were royal blue with the same artwork.
Paula Brinkman’s two-year beautification project at Fairfield Hills resulted in "The Doors at Fairfield Hills" and several painted windows on boarded up buildings.
She recruited three artists to create new "front doors" for the duplexes at Fairfield Hills in 2020. For which she received a grant from the Arts Commission. Three other artists collaborated on the Doors project Dave Brooker, Julia Sikes-Provey, and Kristine Humber.
Paula also created the Featured Art for the 2019 Newtown Arts Festival.
